Emily is a student, researching the relationships between yoga-like practices and Psychophysiology. Both mindful and non-mindful exercise are thought to be effective in supporting the treatment of disease. Yoga-based practices can involve postures, conscious breathing and mindfulness and merging research is beginning to deconstruct the role of these different components on the brain, nervous system and physiology.
