My journal starts with the stimulus of a book and how this stimulus has made its way through my life, in the form of movement or mindful practices and into my studies in neuroscience.

Each month I lead weekly vinyasa classes from this stimulus, and the purpose of this journal its to offer further learnings.

A few things I want to highlight

Carl Honre wrote ‘In Praise of Slow’ in 2005, as a journalist, he was inspired to research to explore why we’re always in such a rush, what if anything is the cure for time-sickness, and whether it’s desirable to slow down.

This month we are reading The Power of Habits by Charles Duhigg, the fundamental idea of the book is that we all have small habits that either move us forward towards our goals or away from our goals.
